I’d rather keep a spare set of rechargeable batteries on hand that can quickly be changed rather than have my mouse inactive because of a recharge port placement design flaw on the newer model. This device oozes quality and is stable, solid and always pairs up nicely with Bluetooth. I’ve tried some of the Chinese designed models and, honestly, they feel like toys. You’ll pay a bit more, but it’s something you use constantly, and really is a pleasure to have under your fingers.
